Winter Firewood Notice update 
We believe in being completely transparent about our firewood. Mostly all pieces will require extra airing for up to 2 weeks after delivery. This is a natural characteristic of seasoned softwood, as colder, wetter conditions can cause timber to retain some moisture from the surrounding environment.
For the best performance, store your firewood:
✅Off the ground
✅Protected from rain
✅Open to good airflow
✅Where it receives as much sunshine as possible**
Correct storage allows your firewood to continue drying naturally after delivery.
As firewood is a natural product, surface mould, may occasionally occur during winter if moisture is retained in the storage environment. This is not harmful to burn. Simply separate the affected pieces and allow additional airflow if required.
Pine is New Zealand's most commonly used firewood—affordable, easy to light and fast burning, making it perfect for quickly warming a cold home. For longer-lasting heat, we recommend burning pine alongside hardwood.
