This Firewood is for winter 2027. Macrocarpa, is a fantastic option for your fireplace. It is a medium densewood. Light and Golden in colour with a lovely Aroma, It is by far an outstanding Firewood option.

Its easy to light , burns longer than pine, fast drying and has a moderate to hot heat output. Macrocarpa is not suitable for open fires, as it tends to spark.

Deliveries for next season are due to begin in November, avoid delays or stock running out and buy know.

Our firewood is seasoned and stored outside. We split to order; this will produce moisture content purely due to the nature of wood.

A nice covered location, that has access to warmth from the sun and fresh air is ideal for storing wood. Good airflow is crucial to keep your wood stored and kept moister-free. Wood stacks should have gaps to allow airflow to easily penetrate during storage months.

Hot Tip : Rain can speed up the drying process for denser wood such as Gum/ Macrocarpa Rain will not hurt your firewood, as long as you have the time to let it dry out in summer.
